Department: Food & Beverage Job purpose: Prepare and serve beverages consistently, maintain a clean and controlled bar, and deliver responsible, guest-focused service.

Key duties and responsibilities Prepare bar mise-en-place, glassware, garnishes, mixers and equipment before service. Prepare beverages to approved recipes, measures, presentation and service standards. Verify age and follow applicable state laws, hotel licence conditions and responsible-service policies before serving alcohol.

Decline or escalate service where a guest appears intoxicated, in accordance with policy and law. Record orders and sales through the POS; follow authorisation rules for voids, discounts and complimentary drinks. Maintain stock rotation, requisitions, bottle control, breakage records and end-of-shift inventory.

Keep bar surfaces, ice handling,



tools and glassware hygienic; label and store ingredients safely. Communicate allergens in mixers/garnishes, avoid cross-contact where relevant, and coordinate service timing with the restaurant team.

Qualifications and experience Bartending/hospitality training and relevant experience preferred; knowledge of beverage preparation, POS and responsible service required.

Required skills and attributes Product knowledge, accuracy with measures, guest communication, hygiene, integrity and composure.
