Role Description: Associate – Taxation and Compliance role is a full-time on-site position based in Bengaluru. The role involves assisting in direct tax and GST compliance, including preparation and review of tax returns, working papers, and supporting documentation. The associate will support statutory and tax audits, handle routine regulatory filings, and assist in responding to notices and queries from tax authorities under supervision.

Day-to-day tasks include researching tax and regulatory provisions, analyzing client data, preparing reports and summaries, and maintaining accurate compliance records.



The role also requires coordinating with partners, team members, and clients to ensure timely delivery of assignments and contributing to process improvements in taxation and compliance workflows.

Qualifications

- Strong compliance management capabilities with experience in Regulatory Compliance and Legal Compliance.
- Robust Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, tax provisions, and regulatory requirements.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and authorities.
- Good understanding of direct tax and GST laws, and interest in continuing career development in taxation and regulatory domains.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA/CA-inter or similar professional qualifications are an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and tax/compliance software, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment and collaborate effectively within a professional services team.
