1. Educational Qualification

- DM / DrNB in Medical Oncology from an NMC-recognised institution.
- MD / DNB in General Medicine followed by DM / DrNB in Medical Oncology.
- Valid NMC / State Medical Council registration.
- Additional fellowship or specialised training in Medical Oncology will be an added advantage.

1. Experience

- 2–7 years of relevant experience in Medical Oncology.
- Experience in managing solid tumours and haematological malignancies.
- Experience in chemotherapy administration, immunotherapy and targeted therapy.

1. Roles & Responsibilities

- Evaluate, diagnose and manage patients with various types of cancers.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on established oncology protocols.
- Manage patients undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapy.
- Monitor treatment responses, adverse effects and complications.
- Coordinate with surgical oncology, radiation oncology,



pathology and radiology teams for comprehensive cancer care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumour board discussions.
- Provide counselling to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options and prognosis.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
- Participate in departmental academic activities, clinical audits and research initiatives.
- Follow hospital protocols, patient safety standards and clinical quality guidelines.
