About the Role

We are a leading B2B training solutions company, hiring a Training Manager / Assistant Training Manager for a premium organized jewellery retail program. You will design and deliver training for jewellery store teams across Bangalore, building their product knowledge, customer-selling skills and store-floor performance.

This role is for someone who has worked on the jewellery retail floor and understands how a premium jewellery store runs, not for a generic corporate trainer.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver classroom and on-the-floor training for jewellery store staff (sales associates, store managers, current joiners)
- Train teams on jewellery product knowledge: gold, diamond, gemstone and platinum categories, purity and hallmarking, the 4Cs of diamonds, certification, pricing and making charges, and collection and design knowledge
- Conduct sales and customer-experience training covering consultative selling, objection handling, upselling and cross-selling, bridal and festive selling, and after-sales service
- Run onboarding and induction programs for new store hires
- Conduct store visits to observe floor performance, run mystery audits, and coach staff one-on-one
- Assess training effectiveness using pre/post assessments, certification tests and sales-conversion tracking
- Track and report training metrics, including attendance, assessment scores, skill gaps and impact on store sales
- Update training content,



modules and playbooks as new collections and campaigns launch
- Coordinate with client stakeholders (store operations, regional and HR teams) on training calendars and requirements
- Mentor and guide junior trainers (for the Training Manager level)
- Maintain training records, feedback reports and MIS

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in jewellery retail, in store operations, sales or in-store training
- Background must be from organized jewellery brands, such as Tanishq, Bluestone, CaratLane, Kalyan, Malabar, Joyalukkas, Senco, PC Jeweller or similar
- Hands-on experience as a retail jewellery trainer, or as a store manager or senior sales professional who has trained teams
- Strong jewellery product knowledge (gold, diamond, gemstone, hallmarking and certification)
- Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills in English and Kannada or Hindi
- Based in Bangalore or willing to relocate immediately

Candidates from non-jewellery backgrounds (general retail, FMCG, BFSI, IT or other sectors) will not be considered.

Preferred Skills

- Train-the-Trainer (TTT) certification
- Experience building training modules, assessments and certification programs
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital learning tools
- Experience training across multiple stores or regions
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
