Role Description The Assistant Merchandiser role is a full-time, in office position based in Coimbatore. The role involves supporting senior merchandisers with day-to-day coordination between customers, production, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of orders.

Responsibilities include handling sample development, tracking order status, preparing basic costing and order sheets, and maintaining accurate documentation.

The Assistant

Merchandiser will communicate regularly with buyers and internal stakeholders, follow up on fabric,



trims, printing, and production schedules, and assist in resolving any issues that may impact delivery timelines. This position also supports quality checks, prepares simple reports on order progress, and contributes to maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact effectively with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to respond to inquiries, manage expectations, and support long-term client relationships.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Retail skills to understand buyer needs, product assortments, and merchandising requirements.

- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Management, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, fabrics, trims, and printing techniques.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, email) and comfort working with order tracking or ERP tools.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
