Position: Assistant Cook / Commis Chef

- Monthly Salary: RM 1,700
- Work Shift: 12-hour shifts (Rotational day or night shifts based on kitchen schedules)
- Rest Days: 1 day off per month
- Contract Length: 3 Years (Fixed-Term Employment Contract)

Candidate Requirements:

- Experience: Prior experience as a kitchen helper, commis, or assistant cook in a hotel, catering setup, or restaurant is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of working efficiently and standing during high-pressure 12-hour commercial kitchen shifts.
- Skills: Positive knife skills, basic understanding of cooking methods, and a passion for teamwork.
- Documentation: Must possess a valid Indian passport with a minimum of 3 years validity remaining.

Key Responsibilities:

- Food Preparation: Prepare, chop, season, and measure fresh ingredients (vegetables, meats, spices) for cooking under the direction of the Head Chef.
- Cooking Support: Assist in preparing sauces, starters,



and main dishes according to standard restaurant recipes.
- Kitchen Station Management: Ensure your dedicated cooking station is clean, properly stocked, and ready for service.
- Food Safety & Hygiene: Adhere strictly to commercial food safety, sanitization, and food handling regulations.
- Kitchen Operations: Assist with receiving inventory, checking food freshness, and managing storage temperatures.
