Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Executive to drive secondary sales, strengthen distributor relationships and expand retail market coverage. The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing distributor sales teams and ensuring product availability across assigned retail outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit approximately 40 retail outlets daily as per the assigned journey and route plan.
- Drive secondary sales and achieve assigned sales targets across the designated territory.
- Lead, train and monitor Distributor Salesmen (DSM) to improve sales performance and productivity.
- Achieve an average minimum of 20 Bill Cuts (BC) and 15 Line Cuts (LC) through self and distributor salesmen.
- Ensure effective product merchandising, visibility and availability at retail outlets.
- Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) practices and minimize product damages to below 2%.
- Drive the Distributor Management System (DMS) to ensure efficient order processing and fulfilment.
- Ensure availability of all SKUs at distributor points, maintaining the prescribed stock norm of 10 days.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors to improve market penetration.
