Overview

At Gallagher Re, we're looking for a detail-oriented insurance professional to join our Placement & Billing team in Mumbai. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with brokers, clients, and reinsurers across global markets while supporting critical placement, contract administration and billing activities.

How you'll make an impact

- Support the end-to-end placement process for reinsurance business.
- Review and process placement documentation, endorsements, evidence of cover, debit notes, and renewal transactions.
- Coordinate with brokers, clients, reinsurers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of activities.
- Facilitate premium and billing transactions while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Review contract documentation and ensure servicing activities are completed within agreed timelines.




- Support renewal cycles, client servicing, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting across various systems and platforms.

About you

- Experience in Insurance, Reinsurance, Placement Support, Account Handling, Policy Administration, Billing, or Broking Operations.
- Understanding of insurance/reinsurance placement processes, policy documentation, endorsements, and renewals.
- Experience working with brokers, underwriters, insurers, or reinsurers.
- Strong attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

Preferred Experience

- Exposure to London Market operations.
- Experience with reinsurance contract administration and billing.
- Knowledge of placement support processes and policy lifecycle management.
