Job Summary

Santriya Technologies is seeking an AI Trade Surveillance & Controls Analyst to investigate market-conduct and surveillance alerts using AI/ML-assisted pattern detection while ensuring decisions are evidence-based, explainable and compliant with regulatory procedures.

Responsibilities

- Review trade/order/communication alerts and contextual market data.
- Use AI to summarize sequences, cluster related events and surface relevant policies; verify source evidence independently.
- Assess potential spoofing, layering, insider dealing, manipulation or conduct concerns as applicable.
- Document rationale for closure or escalation in a transparent, reproducible manner.
- Escalate credible concerns to compliance/legal investigation teams within required timelines.
- Identify false-positive patterns and control gaps and work with model/rules owners on tuning.
- Maintain confidentiality and information barriers.
- Participate in QA, calibration and regulatory/audit responses.

AI-enabled ways of working

- Use approved GenAI copilots, enterprise search/RAG,



analytics and workflow agents to reduce repetitive work and improve decision preparation.
- Keep prompts, outputs and automated actions within approved data-access, confidentiality and retention rules.
- Correct inaccurate summaries, classifications or recommendations before they become customer, operational or system records.
- Feed recurring AI errors, knowledge gaps and process friction into product, documentation and control improvement.

Human accountability AI is a copilot, not the accountable decision-maker. The role holder remains responsible for judgement, quality, privacy, security and appropriate escalation. Credit, fraud blocking, legal/regulatory, financial advice, safety-critical, clinical, employment and other high-impact decisions must follow delegated authority and required human review.

- Escalations remain timely and well-supported
- False positives reduce responsibly
- Evidence and rationale are audit-ready
