AI Transformation Architect - Software Verification (SMTS) We are looking for a senior, hands-on AI Transformation Architect to drive the AI transformation for our software verification organization , responsible for verifying AMD Vivado and Vitis tools and enabling current Adaptive SoC and FPGA products. This is an architect-builder role for someone who can help define the roadmap and technical direction, while personally designing, building, and deploying production-quality AI and agentic workflows that transform how verification is done at team and organizational scale.

Responsibilities

- Own the technical direction of AI transformation for software verification ; partner with leadership on a 12-18 month roadmap with clear milestones and measurable productivity gains
- Act as an architect-builder , personally designing, prototyping, implementing, debugging, and deploying production-quality LLM agents and agentic workflows.
- Transform the verification lifecycle-from specification analysis and test planning/generation to execution, failure triage, defect management, fix verification, coverage, and regression
- Build reusable AI frameworks, tools, and services , combining AI reasoning with deterministic automation and integrating with engineering APIs, CI/CD, repositories, databases, and infrastructure
- Establish evaluation, reliability, observability, scalability,



and human-in-the-loop validation ; improve solutions using quality, productivity, adoption metrics, and user feedback
- Partner across verification, development, AI platform, and infrastructure teams to drive deployment and adoption; provide technical mentorship, best practices, and reference architectures

Requirements

- BE/BS/BTech/MTech/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science , or a related field, with significant industry experience in software development, architecture, verification, design automation, or developer tools
- Strong hands-on software engineering and architecture skills , including designing, implementing, debugging, and maintaining production-quality software; strong Python experience is highly desirable
- Demonstrated delivery of LLM applications, AI agents, or multi-step agentic workflows for engineering or enterprise use, from prototype through production and team- or organization-wide adoption
- Strong knowledge of agent/tool orchestration, function calling, RAG, structured outputs, context/state management, and evaluation ; experience with APIs/MCP and combining AI reasoning with deterministic automation for reliable, scalable workflows
- Ability to translate broad objectives into architecture, multi-quarter roadmaps, milestones, and executable plans , manage dependencies, and drive delivery through strong communication and cross-functional influence without direct authority
- Experience with software verification, EDA/design automation, FPGA or Adaptive SoC development, Vivado, Vitis, test automation, regression, coverage, or failure triage is highly desirable
