Role Summary:

Lead overall Manufacturing Engineering activities, driving manufacturing excellence, Lean implementation, productivity improvement, quality, cost reduction and new production line launches in automotive sheet metal manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma and Operational Excellence initiatives.
- Drive VSM, waste elimination, cycle time reduction and material flow optimization.
- Improve equipment effectiveness, MTTR / MTBF and overall plant productivity.
- Drive Kaizen, Quality Circles, Visual Factory and cost reduction initiatives.
- Monitor and improve plant quality performance through PFMEA, Control Plans and Poka-Yoke .
- Support MAFACT and manufacturing system implementation and compliance.
- Drive assembly dimensional capability and process improvements.




- Lead ergonomics, workplace safety and shop-floor improvement initiatives.
- Drive operator training, multi-skilling and SME development in Robotics, CNC, PLC and Automation.
- Coordinate current production line commissioning, new product launches and production handover.
- Ensure achievement of productivity, quality and designed cycle-time targets.

Skills & Qualifications:

- B.E. Mechanical or equivalent.
- Strong experience in Automotive Sheet Metal Manufacturing .
- Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma and Operational Excellence.
- PFMEA, Control Plans, Poka-Yoke, Kaizen and VSM.
- New Line Setup / New Product Launches.
- Manufacturing Systems, AutoCAD and 2D / 3D CAD tools.
- Experience in Tool Room / Maintenance / Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills.
