AGM Projects – Multi Storey Building (Civil) | Saligramam, Chennai

About the Role:

We are looking for a senior and experienced AGM Projects to lead end-to-end execution of Multi Storey Residential Buildings – Apartments / Villas. The candidate will be responsible for complete project delivery from mobilisation to handover, ensuring timeline, quality, safety, cost and client satisfaction.

Experience: 15-20 Years

Salary: Rs. 1,00,000 - 1,20,000 per month

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech Civil Engineering (Mandatory)

Preferred: PMP / Primavera / Construction Management

Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred

Detailed Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

Plan, monitor and control project schedules, construction sequence, manpower, machinery and material planning for multi storey buildings. Ensure execution as per approved drawings, structural designs, specifications, BOQ and project timelines. Identify delays in advance and take corrective action. Coordinate with Project Head for strategic planning and approvals.

2. Site Management & Coordination

Oversee multiple multi storey project sites at Saligramam and nearby locations. Conduct daily / weekly site reviews for progress, productivity, quality and safety. Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, QA/QC, Safety, Purchase and Stores teams. Ensure site discipline, SOP compliance and smooth day-to-day operations.

3. Technical Coordination

Coordinate with Architects, Structural Consultants, MEP Consultants, Liaison and other stakeholders for drawing clarifications, approvals and design coordination. Review GFC drawings, resolve site technical issues, and ensure execution without rework. Provide technical guidance to site team for complex structural works like raft, basement, podium, tower structure, finishing works.

4. Cost, Budget & Billing Control

Monitor project budget, cost consumption, material wastage and variations. Review BOQ, RA bills, subcontractor bills,



variation claims and certifications in coordination with QS and Finance. Control project cash flow, forecast requirements and implement cost optimization measures.

5. Quality & Safety

Ensure strict adherence to quality standards for structure, waterproofing, finishes and MEP integration. Coordinate with QA/QC team for checklists, material testing, cube tests, mock-ups and NCR closure. Ensure 100% safety compliance, toolbox talks, PPE usage, scaffolding / tower crane safety and statutory requirements.

6. Procurement & Vendor Management

Coordinate with Purchase for timely procurement of cement, steel, RMC, blocks, finishing materials and services. Plan material requirements as per schedule to avoid site stoppage. Monitor contractor / subcontractor performance, workmanship, manpower deployment and compliance with agreements.

7. Team Leadership

Lead, mentor and manage Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors and support staff. Define KRAs, review performance, conduct review meetings and build a result-oriented team. Ensure effective communication and adherence to hierarchy.

8. Reporting & Handover

Prepare weekly / monthly MIS, progress reports, delay analysis, risk register and present to Management. Highlight risks, resource gaps and action plans. Ensure snag rectification, final inspections, statutory approvals, customer handover and complete project closure documentation.

Skills Required:

Robust knowledge of multi storey building construction, structural execution, finishing works, drawings, BOQ, specifications, MS Project, Primavera, MS Office, ERP. Excellent leadership, planning, coordination, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ideal Candidate:

15-20 years in Civil Construction with minimum 3-5 years in senior leadership role, with proven track record of completing multi storey apartments / villas on time.

Work Location: Saligramam, Chennai.
