Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AR Lead to manage the Accounts Receivable function, oversee customer invoicing and collections, monitor outstanding balances, and ensure timely cash flow. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounts receivable operations, ageing analysis, reconciliations, dispute management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage daily Accounts Receivable (AR) operations and team activities.
- Oversee customer invoicing, billing accuracy, payment allocations, and cash application.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely follow-up on overdue payments.
- Prepare and review AR ageing reports,



collection reports, and outstanding balance statements.
- Manage customer account reconciliations and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Coordinate with customers, sales teams, and internal finance teams to resolve payment disputes.
- Track Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and implement strategies to improve collections.
- Ensure timely month-end closing activities, including AR reconciliations and reporting.
- Maintain accurate customer records and ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls.
- Monitor team performance, allocate workloads, and provide guidance to team members.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation of AR activities.
- Prepare MIS reports and provide regular updates to management on collection performance and overdue accounts.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably with team-handling experience.
- Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, cash application, customer reconciliations, and AR ageing.
- Knowledge of DSO, collection metrics, and month-end closing processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and team management skills.
