The Art X Company is hiring for their client Science Gallery Bengaluru (SGB) an Accounts Manager will oversee the accounting and financial management functions at SGB ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, donor fund utilisation, and effective financial controls. The role involves managing monthly and annual financial closures, grant reporting, receivables and payables, payroll accounting, banking, audits, and board-level financial reporting.

The Accounts

Manager will work closely with internal departments, donors, auditors, and government agencies to maintain financial discipline and ensure timely and accurate financial information.

Job Summary The Accounts Manager will be responsible for all areas relating to accounting and finance at

SGB.



They will work under tight deadlines for a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, managing invoices, reconciling account balances and bank statements, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities.

The Accounts

Manager will coordinate with each department for collecting information and developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures that ensure accurate and timely financial statements, adherence to statutory regulations, as well as to maintain financial discipline within the organization.
