Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining general ledgers, preparing journal entries, and reconciling bank and vendor accounts.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, tracking inventory-related costs, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. The role involves preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and tax regulations.



The Accountant will collaborate with operations, procurement, and management to provide accurate financial data for decision-making in the garment manufacturing and distribution environment.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ernakulam.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing processes.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of management and financial reports.
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and basic audit support.
- Ability to work with accounting or ERP software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical and numerical skills, and a structured work approach.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA Intermediate, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Experience in the garment, manufacturing, or retail sector is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Ernakulam and manage deadlines in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
