We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. This role requires a professional capable of seamlessly managing both domestic and overseas financial operations, trade compliance, and day-to-day accounting functions.

Role & responsibilities Core Accounting and Data Entry:

- Maintain comprehensive financial records and ensure compliance with accepted policies and procedures
- Record and manage day-to-day data entry including purchase and sales reports
- Process debit notes, credit notes, ledgers, and petty cash or traveling expenses
- Reconcile bank statements and diligently manage accounts payable (creditors) and accounts receivable (debtors)

Taxation and Compliance:
- Handle monthly GST calculations and compile monthly GST data (including Export-Import data)
- Prepare tax returns and ensure accurate, timely filings in compliance with local tax laws

Inventory and Reporting:




- Conduct weekly and monthly stock inventory audits
- Generate management information system (MIS) reports to support business decisions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist management with budgeting and strategic financial planning

Import-Export and Logistics Documentation:
- Manage all import-export documentation in relation to banking processes
- Draft and finalize crucial international trade documents
- Coordinate and prepare export documentation as per CHA (Customs House Agent) requirements for respective countries
- Handle invoicing, export certificates, and logistics or transportation coordination

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as an accountant (experience handling import-export operations is highly preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software, specifically Tally
- Thorough knowledge of local GST, tax laws, and standard financial regulations
- Solid attention to detail, analytical skills, and organization
