Role Description This full-time, in office Accountant role is based in Meerut and involves managing day-to-day financial operations. The Accountant will prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations, while ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities include processing invoices and payments, managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves preparing financial reports, analyzing variances, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors,



and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and financial control.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in general accounting principles, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and basic financial analysis to support decision-making and planning.
- Experience with accounting software and spreadsheets, with the ability to manage data accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of relevant tax rules and compliance requirements applicable to the organization’s operations.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Explicit written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a professional services or corporate environment.
