- The Account Manager Sales is responsible for developing profitable and sustainable equipment sales activities in line with the overall international sales strategy and budget.
- This role operates within an international network organization and contributes to the company’s core values: Safety, Responsibility, Integrity, Engagement, and Teamwork.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in the definition of the sales strategy to achieve annual plans and budgets.
- Develop sales revenue from equipment sales.
- Manage own sales performance based on a set of agreed KPIs and targets.
- Gather, analyze, and anticipate customer needs and market developments and opportunities.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with current and potential customers and partners.
- Provide accurate, timely, and complete management information, including previous sales and forecasts.
- Participate in the professionalization and structuring of the equipment sales process,
including CRM system and key account management tools.
- Closely work with the marketing department to agree on necessary marketing tools and actions to support the sales function.
- Maintain up-to-date selling skills, market, and product knowledge.
- Participate in international fairs, trade shows, and other relevant events.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Extensive knowledge of aerial work platform or industrial equipment market, with at least 5 years of experience in sales and key account management.
- Higher education degree or work level.
- Excellent language skills in English and preferably two other European languages (written and spoken).
- Excellent command of MS Office applications.
- Willing to work in an international network organization.
- Willing to travel as required.
