Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Guwahati. The Salesperson will visit existing and potential customers, present products, explain pricing and offers, and secure orders. Daily responsibilities include following up on leads, maintaining regular contact with retailers and wholesalers, and building long-term relationships to drive repeat business. The role involves coordinating with the warehouse and delivery teams to ensure accurate and on-time fulfillment, tracking sales performance, and reporting market feedback to management.



The Salesperson is expected to maintain accurate records of visits, orders, and collections, while representing Padmavati Distributors professionally in the local market.
Qualifications

- Strong sales and negotiation abilities, with a focus on building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain product features and pricing clearly.
- Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills for managing orders, invoices, and payment collections.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and meet daily and monthly targets.
- Familiarity with local markets in and around Guwahati; prior experience in distribution or FMCG sales is an advantage.
- Comfort using a mobile phone and basic digital tools for calls, messaging, and reporting.
- Willingness to travel locally for customer visits and maintain a regular presence in the market.
- Minimum high school education; higher qualifications are welcome but not mandatory.
