HME is seeking a Software Engineer with 2+ years of experience to build and deliver high-quality software solutions across a variety of products and platforms. The ideal candidate is a strongprogrammer and problem solver who can learn quickly, take ownership, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a hands-on engineer who enjoys tackling challenging technical problems, working across different technologies, and contributing wherever needed to help the team succeed.

What you will do in the position:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and services.
- Build backend services, APIs, and microservices that are secure, reliable, and maintainable.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the software stack.




- Participate in software design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Work across multiple projects and technologies in a fast-paced environment.
- Continuously improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Learn new technologies and frameworks as needed to support business goals.
- Contribute to team success by taking ownership and delivering results with a strong sense of urgency.

What you will need to succeed in this position:

- 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills with solid computer science fundamentals.
- Experience developing backend applications using Python (preferred), Java, C#, or C++.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, with strong SQL query development skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work across different technical domains.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience building web applications using ReactJS or similar frontend frameworks.
- Experience working with edge devices, embedded systems, or device-connected applications.




- Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
- Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes.
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and logging tools.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices-based architectures.
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud-native application development.
- Demonstrated passion for technology, continuous learning, and taking on new challenges.

- Technical round 1 - face to face at Bangalore office (DSA / system design mix)
- Technical Round 2 - Mrinal, managerial + technical.
- Round 3 - HR + salary round
