The Data Entry Assistant is responsible for accurately inputting and verifying large volumes of information into our systems. This position supports various departments by ensuring data integrity and timely availability of critical records. Key responsibilities

Enter, update, and maintain data in company databases and spreadsheets with a high degree of accuracy.

Perform routine data verification and quality checks to identify and correct errors.

Generate and format reports using Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and pivot tables.

Collaborate with team members to gather missing information and resolve data discrepancies.

Manage electronic and paper files, ensuring proper organization and easy retrieval.

Adhere to data security and confidentiality policies while handling sensitive information.

Assist with periodic data audits and contribute to process improvement initiatives.





Required qualifications

- 1–5 years of hands‑on data entry experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record of high‑accuracy work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office software (Word, Outlook).
- Strong typing speed (minimum 60 wpm) with minimal errors.
- Demonstrated ability to verify, cleanse, and validate data sets.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.

Nice to have

Experience with data management tools such as Access or SQL.

Familiarity with OCR and data extraction software.

Knowledge of basic data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Previous experience in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven workplace.
