Java DeveloperWe are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our Engineering - Software team in Bengaluru. This role offers the opportunity to design, build, and maintain high-quality backend systems that scale. The successful candidate will have 4 - 9 years of hands-on Java development experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset. You will work across the full feature lifecycle - from requirements and design through development, testing, and deployment - contributing to a culture of engineering excellence. Local candidates in Bengaluru or Mumbai will be considered and the role is based in Bengaluru with a 1-month notice period preferred. The expected annual salary range is 30 - 32 LPA depending on experience and qualifications.Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based backend applications and microservices.- Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with databases and external services.- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA to understand requirements and deliver high-quality features.- Write clean, maintainable code with unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews.- Optimize performance, scalability,



and reliability; identify and address bottlenecks.- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing; ensure code quality and deployment readiness.- Participate in architectural discussions and help with technical design documentation.- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge with the team.- Support production systems and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with SRE/ops.Requirements : - 4 - 9 years of professional experience with Java development.- Solid proficiency in core Java and object-oriented design.- Experience with backend development and building RESTful services; familiarity with Spring ecosystem is a plus.- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL; familiarity with ORM frameworks.- Understanding of software development lifecycle, testing strategies, and debugging.- Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and modern development workflows.- Based in Bengaluru or willing to work from Bengaluru; notice period preference of 1 month.Nice to Have : - Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate/JPA.- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).- Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
