We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Manager to drive sales and business development across the assigned territory. The candidate should have positive experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in the Injectable Division, along with strong territory management and team-handling capabilities.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Achieve assigned area sales targets and business objectives.
Develop and implement sales strategies to improve business growth.
Identify new business opportunities and increase product penetration.
Ensure consistent sales performance across the assigned territory.
2. Team Management & Leadership
Manage, guide, and motivate the sales team.
Monitor team performance and ensure achievement of targets.
Conduct joint fieldwork and provide regular guidance to team members.
Ensure effective execution of sales strategies.
3. Doctor Relationship Management
Develop and maintain relationships with key doctors, consultants, and healthcare professionals.
Ensure effective product detailing and promotion.
Strengthen doctor coverage and improve prescription generation.
4. Territory & Market Management
Handle and develop business across half of Andhra Pradesh.
Manage territory coverage and doctor call planning.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
Identify new business opportunities and improve market share.
5. Reporting & Performance Management
Monitor daily sales activities and team performance.
Review sales reports and target achievements.
Ensure timely submission of DCR and other sales reports.
Coordinate with stockists and distributors to ensure product availability.
Education & Experience
Graduate in a relevant discipline.
Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales is mandatory.
Injectable therapy experience will be preferred.
Must have experience handling half of Andhra Pradesh.
Area Manager-level experience with team-handling exposure preferred.
Maximum Age: 40 Years.
Strong communication, leadership, and territory management skills.
Target-oriented with the ability to drive business growth.
