SITE SUPERVISOR – LUXURY RESIDENTIAL FINISHING & EXECUTION

ABOUT THE PROJECT

We are developing a premium contemporary luxury residence in Chandigarh, featuring modern architecture, high-quality construction materials, premium interiors, sophisticated finishes and advanced building systems.

The project is currently at the finishing and execution stage. We are looking for an experienced, responsible and hands-on Site Supervisor to manage interior execution, coordinate contractors and oversee the remaining external works, ensuring exceptional workmanship, quality control and timely completion.

The selected candidate will be responsible for day-to-day site operations and will work closely with the homeowner, architects, interior designers, consultants, vendors and contractors.

Supervise marble, natural stone, tile and flooring installations.

- Coordinate wooden panelling, veneer, wardrobes, cabinetry and custom furniture.
- Supervise false ceilings, POP, painting, polishing and decorative finishes.
- Coordinate kitchen, bathroom, vanity, doors and hardware installations.
- Ensure accurate measurements, alignment, levels, joints and quality of workmanship.
- Protect completed flooring, furniture and other finished surfaces during subsequent work.

Electrical, Plumbing & MEP Coordination

- Coordinate electrical wiring, lighting, switches, sockets and distribution systems.
- Supervise plumbing, drainage and sanitary installations.
- Coordinate HVAC, central air-conditioning and ventilation systems.
- Coordinate home automation, CCTV, networking and security systems.
- Ensure concealed electrical, plumbing and other services are inspected before closing walls, ceilings and flooring.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning of installed systems.
- Ensure all installations follow approved drawings and technical specifications.

Windows & External Works

- Coordinate aluminium windows, glass panels and double-glazed installations.
- Check window alignment, sealing, waterproofing and finishing.




- Coordinate external drainage and waterproofing.
- Ensure proper installation quality and finishing of external architectural elements.
- Coordinate with specialised vendors and installation teams.

Contractor & Site Management

- Manage daily activities of contractors, subcontractors and labour teams.
- Follow up with contractors to ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Ensure contractors follow approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Material Management
- Check the quality and quantity of incoming materials.
- Inform management in advance about material requirements and shortages.
- Quality Control & Reporting
- Prepare daily progress reports with site photographs and videos.
- Maintain records of contractor progress, manpower and pending activities.
- Monitor quality at every stage and ensure defects are corrected before final approval.
- Provide regular updates regarding project progress and potential delays.

Project & Homeowner Coordination

- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, consultants, vendors and contractors.
- Prepare daily and weekly work schedules and monitor project timelines.
- Provide regular progress updates to management.
- Must be comfortable and willing to work directly with the homeowner, including accommodating the homeowner's regular presence, involvement, feedback and site inspections.
- Ensure instructions and approved changes are communicated properly to the relevant contractors and teams.

Protect completed flooring, furniture, glass, fixtures and other finished surfaces from damage.

- Ensure proper storage of tools, equipment and construction materials.
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment throughout the project.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE





- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in residential construction and site supervision.
- Previous experience in luxury residential projects and interior finishing preferred.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, interior, electrical and plumbing drawings.
- Practical knowledge of marble, natural stone, tiles, veneer, woodwork and false ceiling execution.
- Experience managing contractors, subcontractors and labour teams.
- Understanding of modern construction materials and finishing techniques.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.

* PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Candidates with practical experience in the following areas will be given preference:

- Premium marble, natural stone and imported flooring.
- High-end interior woodwork, veneer and custom furniture.
- Large-format aluminium windows and double-glazed glass.
- Premium kitchens, bathrooms and sanitary fittings.
- HVAC and central air-conditioning systems.
- Home automation and smart electrical systems.
- Waterproofing, insulation and external finishing.
- Contract Duration: Initial fixed-term contract of 5–6 months.
- Monthly Salary: 35,000–40,000, depending on experience and suitability.
- Immediate or as mutually agreed.
- Contract extension may be considered depending on project requirements and performance.
