We are looking for experienced engineers to join the Modem System Validation Engineering (SVE) team in Bangalore. The team is responsible for pre-silicon emulation and post-silicon validation of Qualcomm SoCs and cellular modem subsystems, working closely with Architecture, Design/DV, Firmware, Software, Emulation, RF and other validation teams.
The role involves developing validation content, bringing up modem subsystems on emulation and silicon platforms, executing comprehensive validation, automating test flows, and debugging complex hardware/firmware/system issues. Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.
Develop directed, random and pseudo-random diagnostics and reusable validation content in C/C++ and scripting languages.
Develop automation for validation, regression execution, data collection and failure triage using Python or similar scripting languages.
Debug low-level hardware, firmware and software issues using JTAG/Lauterbach Trace32 and related debug tools.
Analyze system-level issues involving modem cores, interfaces, memory, power/performance and RF interactions.
Work cross-functionally with Architecture, Design, DV, Firmware, Software, Emulation and RF teams to resolve issues and meet program milestones.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.





- 3+ years of relevant experience in SoC validation, modem validation, emulation, embedded systems or silicon bring-up.
- Robust C/C++ programming and Python/scripting skills.
- Hands-on experience with ARM/DSP-based SoCs and embedded environments.
- Experience in low-level hardware/software debug and test-content development.
- experience with Lauterbach Trace32/CMM scripting is desirable.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with local and global engineering teams.

Understanding of digital communication principles and cellular modem architecture/data flow.
Experience with cellular technologies and modem/RF subsystem validation.
Experience with system-level validation, power/performance testing and post-silicon bring-up.
