Engineering ManagerThe Engineering Manager SRE & DRE will lead and develop India-based Site Reliability and Database Reliability Engineers, owning their career growth, performance, wellbeing and team capability while acting as the senior technical authority (Principal SRE-level) during India working hours.Total Experience: 7 - 15 yearsAbout this roleThe Engineering Manager (India) is a unique and critical role within WDigital's reliability engineering organisation, part of the Services, Operations and Infrastructure (SOI) division of Group IT. You carry two equally significant accountabilities: the direct line management and career development of India-based Site Reliability and Database Reliability Engineers, and the senior technical leadership that keeps the India team moving forward with confidence and capability.What you'll do- Directly manage the career development, performance, wellbeing, and day to day experience of India-based SREs and DREs.- Work closely with AU Engineering Managers to ensure India-based engineers are effectively integrated into their domain squads.- Champion a blameless, psychologically safe engineering culture within the India team.- Provide senior technical guidance and escalation capability during India working hours.- Lead on complex and high-impact technical initiatives within the GCC, applying expertise close to Principal SRE level.- Participate in architectural reviews, technical design discussions,
