About the Role : We are seeking a visionary Senior Director of Engineering to transform our early-stage payment gateway into a category-defining fintech powerhouse within the next 12 - 24 months. As the technical owner of Zaakpay, you will oversee the entire ecosystem - from the core gateway and checkout experiences to risk engines and value-added services. You will architect the future of payments using an AI-native approach, ensuring our infrastructure is not just robust, but intelligent.Key Responsibilities : - Vision & Roadmap : Define and execute the long-term technology roadmap. Balance rapid feature delivery with long-term architectural health, high uptime, and strict SLOs.- Technical Leadership : Lead, mentor, and inspire a multi-disciplinary team of backend and frontend engineers. Cultivate a technology-first mindset focused on craft and ownership.- Architectural Excellence : Act as the lead architect for the platform.
