Role Description This full-time, on-site Mathematics Teacher role is based at AMITY GROUP OF SCHOOLS in Gurugram. The Mathematics Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school curriculum for assigned grade levels, ensuring clear explanation of mathematical concepts and problem-solving techniques. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assigning and assessing homework and tests, and providing constructive feedback to learners. The teacher will track student progress,



offer academic support where needed, maintain classroom discipline, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment. Additional duties include collaborating with colleagues on curriculum initiatives, participating in staff meetings, parent interactions, and school events, and engaging in continuous professional development.

Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and demonstrated ability to teach Mathematics effectively at school level.

Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design structured, age-appropriate learning experiences.

Qualified Teacher status with formal training in Mathematics Education or related field.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related discipline.

Experience teaching in a school environment, preferably CBSE or equivalent, with familiarity in modern pedagogical methods.

Ability to use classroom technology and digital tools to enhance instruction and student engagement.

Commitment to ongoing professional development, collaboration with colleagues, and participation in co-curricular activities.
