Plans computerized databases, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines, and protection. Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, such as base dictionaries. Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls while formulating and monitoring database management standards. Proposes and implements performance enhancements to improve overall system reliability.
Manage database access by creating, maintaining, and purging user accounts alongside table and data permissions.
Execute audit procedures to track schedule changes and monitor new items created within the database setting.
Support capacity planning by running established reports, gathering data, and performing routine maintenance like data compression.
Tune system performance by monitoring query efficiency and rebuilding inconsistent or corrupt indexes.




Maintain operational documentation including SQL recovery presentations, naming standards, and performance guidelines.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience.

- 6+ years of experience with installation, customization, testing, and maintenance of database systems in production.
- Extensive DBMS knowledge across multiple technologies including AWS & Azure managed databases, MongoDB (Atlas), and PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency with database utilities used to manage, monitor, and maintain local and geographically dispersed systems.
- It's a bonus if you have :-

Bachelor's Degree specifically in an IT-related field.
Strong knowledge of either Oracle or SQL Server environments.
Advanced familiarity with enterprise-level database recovery technologies.
