Role Description The Sales Manager internship at Grubwala is an on-site role based in Mumbai. In this position, the intern will support lead generation, conduct outreach to potential customers and home-chefs, and assist in closing subscription-based deals. Daily responsibilities include managing sales pipelines, maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, and coordinating with operations and marketing teams to ensure a smooth customer onboarding experience. The intern will also help gather market insights, participate in local promotional activities,



and contribute to strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention.

As Sales Manager, you'll drive Grubwala's growth on both sides: bringing more outstanding home chefs onto the platform and growing the customers and orders that keep their kitchens busy. You'll spend most of your day in the field, meeting chefs and customers across Mumbai.

Find, onboard and grow a strong network of home chefs across Mumbai
Visit chefs in person to build lasting relationships and help them grow their sales on Grubwala
Drive customer and order growth, including [corporate meals, bulk/event orders, subscriptions]
Work with operations and marketing on pricing, promotions and launches

3–6] years of field sales or business development experience, ideally in food, FMCG, food-tech or marketplaces
Experience onboarding partners or sellers onto a platform is a big plus
Comfortable with CRM tools and Excel/Sheets
Fluent in English and Hindi; Happy to be on the ground daily and travel across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region
