Agile Delivery LeadRole : Agile Delivery LeadEmployment Type : ContractualJob Summary : We are looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Lead to drive end-to-end delivery across software engineering, data engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps and QA teams. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, Jira-based delivery management and cross-functional program execution. The role requires the ability to manage multiple technical initiatives, streamline delivery processes, identify risks, manage dependencies and ensure timely execution across distributed engineering teams.Key Responsibilities : - Lead Agile delivery across multiple engineering, data, cloud and platform teams.- Manage sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, retrospectives and release readiness.- Drive effective utilization of Jira for sprint tracking, epics, workflows, dependencies and delivery reporting.- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project priorities, timelines and deliverables.- Identify delivery risks, resolve blockers, manage dependencies and ensure timely decision-making.- Monitor delivery performance through sprint metrics, dashboards and progress reports.- Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.- Drive continuous improvement in Agile processes, backlog management and delivery practices.- Support production operations, technical debt initiatives, platform modernization and release management.- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, documentation and quality standards.- Manage delivery coordination across geographically distributed teams, including offshore and partner resources.Required Skills & Qualifications : - 8+ years of experience in Technology Delivery, Agile Delivery, Technical Program Management,



Engineering Operations or Project Management.- Strong experience working with software engineering, data engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps and QA teams.- Hands-on expertise in Jira, including boards, workflows, backlogs, epics, dependencies and reporting.- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum and Kanban methodologies.- Experience managing sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, retrospectives and release management.- Good understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub and modern software development practices.- Technical exposure to AWS, Kubernetes, Docker and cloud infrastructure.- Understanding of Java, Python, APIs and application integration environments.- Familiarity with data engineering tools and technologies such as Snowflake, Airflow, dbt and SQL.- Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, delivery risks and competing priorities.- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.- Experience managing distributed and cross-functional engineering teams.Preferred Qualifications : - Experience as an Agile Delivery Lead, Engineering Delivery Manager, Technical Program Management, Scrum Master or Engineering Operations Lead.- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Snowflake, Airflow, dbt and CI/CD workflows.- Experience in SaaS products, enterprise applications, data platforms and API integrations.- Exposure to platform modernization, data migration, security and compliance initiatives.- Agile, Scrum, PMP or SAFe certifications.- Experience working in healthcare, financial services or other regulated industries.Key Skills : Agile Delivery, Jira, Scrum, Kanban, Technical Program Management, Engineering Delivery, Sprint Planning, Backlog Management, Stakeholder Management, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, CI/CD, GitHub, DevOps, SDLC, Data Engineering, Release Management (ref:hirist.tech)
