Sevalaya is hiring a Purchase Executive for its Chennai team. The position is open to candidates from any industry and offers a monthly salary of ₹30,000. The successful candidate will support reliable procurement operations, helping ensure that the organization obtains required goods and services efficiently and maintains clear purchasing records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of Purchase Orders (POs)
- Identify and coordinate with vendors for procurement requirements
- Maintain and update vendor database and records
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of purchase records
- Compare quotations and support cost-effective purchasing decisions
- Coordinate with internal teams for purchase requirements
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management
- Willingness to travel for vendor visits and procurement activities
Requirements :
- 0–1 year of experience in Purchase / Procurement
- Basic knowledge of vendor management and purchase processes
- Familiarity with Purchase Orders, quotations, and documentation
- Positive communication and negotiation skills
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must own a two-wheeler/vehicle and be willing to travel
