Position : Backend Software Engineer (Platform APIs)Overall/Total Experience : 2 - 4 yearsLocation : North DelhiWorking Days : 6 Days from OfficeNotice Period Requirement : 30 Days (Maximum)Client's Company Size : Mid-SizedRoles & Responsibilities : - Build telemetry ingestion and reusable feature pipelines; validate SDK events, handle retries and keep model inputs consistent across services. Use confirmed fraud and false-positive feedback to refine features and explain decision behaviour.- Develop low-latency APIs that fuse identity, device and behaviour scores. Implement and test customer policies, rules and reason codes for allow, warn, step-up, hold or block.- Build entity links across people, devices, SIMs and accounts to support account takeover detection and reveal coordinated fraud, while maintaining tenant isolation.- Debug customer integrations and unexpected decisions with SDK, ML and product teams; trace events, reproduce issues and improve API contracts, documentation and audit trails.- Own production reliability and security : request signing, key management, metrics, incident response and secure releases. Review code and designs, and mentor junior engineers.Candidate Requirements :



- Strong Backend Engineer Profile with production distributed-systems depth and low-latency API work.- Must have 2+ years building and running production backends in Python, Go or Rust, with clear API design and versioning.- Must have strong distributed systems fundamentals : queues, streams, caching, idempotency and consistency trade-offs.- Must have hands-on PostgreSQL or similar databases at scale, plus Redis or another cache.- Must have experience with containers, AWS or GCP, and disciplined testing, metrics, tracing and structured logs.- Must be proficient with agentic AI coding tools, able to review, test and take ownership of generated code.- Must be able to build telemetry ingestion and reusable feature pipelines, develop low-latency APIs, and own production reliability and security (request signing, key management, incident response, safe releases).- Must be able to debug customer integrations, review code and designs, and mentor junior engineers.- Must come from a product company (SaaS/platform/product engineering).
