We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and skilled Video Editor to join our team and work on our podcast channel and digital media content. The selected candidate will be responsible for editing podcast episodes, improving overall video quality, creating engaging visual content, and preparing videos for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and other social media channels.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling, visual composition, audio-video synchronization, color correction, and modern video editing techniques. We are looking for someone who can transform raw podcast footage into professional, engaging, and visually appealing content while maintaining the original conversation, message, and context.

This role is suitable for someone who is passionate about video editing, digital storytelling, podcasts, interviews, and online media production.

Key Responsibilities

- Podcast Video Editing: Edit full-length podcast episodes, interviews, discussions, and other recorded content into polished, professional videos suitable for YouTube and other digital platforms.
- Short-Form Content Creation: Identify engaging moments, important statements, interesting discussions, and impactful clips from long podcast recordings to create YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other short-form videos.
- Audio-Video Synchronization: Ensure accurate synchronization between video footage and audio recordings, maintaining explicit and consistent sound throughout the episode.
- Video Enhancement: Perform color correction, color grading, exposure adjustment, brightness correction, and other enhancements to improve the overall visual quality of the footage.
- Professional Transitions and Cuts: Use appropriate cuts, transitions,



and pacing to maintain viewer engagement without making the content look unnecessarily flashy or distracting.
- Text and Subtitle Editing: Add titles, lower thirds, speaker names, captions, subtitles, and relevant on-screen text wherever required.
- Graphics and Visual Elements: Incorporate relevant images, background visuals, graphics, and other supporting elements to make the content more informative and engaging.
- Audio Cleanup: Reduce background noise where possible, balance audio levels, improve voice clarity, and ensure a comfortable listening experience.
- YouTube Content Preparation: Prepare videos in the appropriate resolution, aspect ratio, format, and export settings for YouTube and other social media platforms.
- Thumbnail Coordination: Coordinate with the team regarding suitable frames, visuals, and moments that can be used for YouTube thumbnails.
- Content Organization: Maintain an organized workflow for raw footage, project files, audio recordings, graphics, and final exports.
- Quality Control: Review the final videos carefully to identify editing mistakes, audio issues, spelling errors in on-screen text, and other inconsistencies before delivery.
- Timely Delivery: Complete assigned editing tasks within agreed deadlines while maintaining consistent quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Practical experience in video editing,



preferably in podcasts, interviews, YouTube videos, news, documentaries, or digital media.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Understanding of storytelling, pacing, continuity, and audience retention.
- Knowledge of color correction, basic color grading, audio synchronization, and sound editing.
- Ability to create engaging short-form videos from long-form recordings.
- Familiarity with vertical and horizontal video formats, including 9:16, 16:9, and other commonly used aspect ratios.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics, text animation, and visual effects is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow creative instructions.
- Good time management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the production team.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who understands that good podcast editing is not just about cutting footage but also about presenting conversations in a clear, engaging, and professional manner.

The candidate should be able to identify unnecessary pauses, remove irrelevant sections when appropriate, maintain the natural flow of conversations, and highlight important moments without changing the intended meaning of the discussion.

Experience in editing long-form interviews, panel discussions, political or social commentary, educational content, and YouTube podcasts will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
