Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and review electrical layouts for solar PV systems (rooftop and ground-mounted)Prepare and verify SLD, cable sizing, earthing, and protection schemesSupervise installation, testing, and commissioning of solar PV plantsCoordinate with civil, mechanical, and procurement teamsEnsure compliance with IEC/IEEE standards, local electrical codes, and safety regulationsConduct site inspections and resolve electrical issues during executionSupport grid synchronization, inverter configuration, and performance testingReview vendor drawings, BOQs, and technical documentsAssist in operation & maintenance (O&M) planning and troubleshootingPrepare technical reports and as-built documentationTechnical SkillsSolar PV design tools (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD)Electrical calculations (load flow, cable sizing, fault levels)Knowledge of grid interconnection standardsMS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
