- Estimate material quantities, costs for buildings as per Karnataka schedule of rates and Delhi schedule of rates
- To prepare tender and contract documents – this can include bills of quantities with the client and architect
- To undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance work
- Meeting clients to determine their needs and discuss any areas that need revising for price or feasibility
- Calculating material quantities and costs
- Preparation of data rates
