Job description:

Key Responsibilities1. Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting

- Roll Forming Lines: Complete maintenance of roll forming setups, including mechanical drive trains, roller alignment/clearance, hydraulic power packs, cut-off systems, electrical panels, and basic PLC troubleshooting.
- Overhead Cranes (EOT): Inspection and upkeep of EOT cranes—hoists, wire ropes, brake systems, end carriages, long-travel/cross-travel drives, pendant controls, and electrical panels to ensure safe overhead handling.
- Presses & Shearing: Regular preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical power presses, pneumatic clutch/brakes, mechanical & hydraulic shearing machines, blade sharpening/gap adjustments, and hydraulic seals/valves.
- Bending Machines: Maintenance and calibration of mechanical and hydraulic press brakes/bending machines, pressure relief valves, manifolds, cylinders, and structural frame checks.

2. Hydraulic, Pneumatic & Mechanical Systems

- Overhaul and inspect hydraulic pumps (gear/vane/piston), directional valves, solenoid coils, accumulators, cylinders, high-pressure piping, and oil filtration systems.
- Routine mechanical maintenance: gearboxes, chains, sprockets, bearings, shaft couplings, and grease lubrication cycles.

3. Electrical & Automation Systems

- Routine upkeep of LT electrical distribution panels, contactors, relays, MCBs, timers, motors, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Rapid fault detection in motor control circuits,



sensor inputs (proximity, limit switches, encoders), and PLC I/O wiring.

4. Preventive Maintenance & Safety Management

- Implement daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Maintain spare parts inventory for critical consumables (oil filters, belts, contactors, hydraulic seals, fuses, bearings).
- Enforce strict shop floor safety guidelines, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during major repairs, and safe rigging practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.
- Experience: 4 to 8+ years of hands-on plant maintenance experience in a steel fabrication, sheet metal, cold roll forming, or heavy manufacturing unit.
- Technical Expertise:
- Demonstrated core knowledge across all three domains: Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical.
- Direct working experience on EOT Cranes, Roll Forming Lines, Mechanical Power Presses, Hydraulic Shearing, and Bending Machines.
- Practical understanding of hydraulic schematics and electrical wiring diagrams.
- Soft Skills: Quick decision-making, shop-floor team leadership, breakdown root-cause analysis (RCA), and vendor coordination for spares.

Work Location: In person

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
