? Job Location: Rohad Industrial Area, Bahadurgarh, Haryana

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Painting & Dispatch Manager with strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), Heavy Structural Steel Fabrication, Industrial Painting, Quality Control, and Dispatch Management.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing the complete painting and dispatch departments, ensuring superior paint quality, optimum material consumption, effective manpower utilization, systematic loading, and timely dispatch of finished steel structures.

? Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Painting Operations & Surface Preparation

- Oversee complete painting operations for PEB and heavy fabricated steel structures.
- Ensure proper surface cleaning, grinding, degreasing, rust removal, and preparation before painting.
- Supervise application of primers, epoxy, PU, and other industrial protective coatings as per project specifications.
- Monitor paint mixing ratios, thinner consumption, application methods, pot life, and curing time.
- Ensure uniform coating application and compliance with approved painting specifications.
- Plan and achieve daily painting production targets.

2. Paint Quality Control & DFT Inspection

- Conduct and supervise Wet Film Thickness (WFT) and Dry Film Thickness (DFT) inspections.
- Ensure coating thickness meets approved project requirements.
- Identify and rectify painting defects, including runs, sagging, pinholes, peeling, blistering, and uneven coating.
- Ensure proper intercoat intervals, adhesion, and paint finish.
- Maintain DFT inspection reports, painting quality records, and daily inspection checklists.
- Ensure no painted material is cleared for dispatch without the required quality approval.

3. Dispatch Planning & Execution

- Independently manage the complete dispatch operations of finished PEB and heavy structural steel materials.
- Prepare daily and weekly dispatch plans in coordination with PPC, Production, Quality, and Project teams.
- Ensure proper identification, segregation, tagging, and stacking of finished materials project-wise.
- Supervise vehicle loading, material handling, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure correct loading sequence according to project requirements and site erection priorities.
- Coordinate vehicle placement, transporter arrangements, and dispatch schedules.
- Ensure timely dispatch of materials as per committed project schedules.

4. Material Verification, Loading & Documentation





- Verify finished material quantities against approved packing lists and dispatch instructions.
- Ensure proper identification of columns, rafters, beams, bracings, and other structural components.
- Supervise secure loading and proper placement of materials to avoid bending, deformation, and paint damage.
- Ensure proper securing, lashing, and protection of materials during transportation.
- Coordinate preparation of packing lists, delivery challans, invoices, e-way bills, and other dispatch documentation with the concerned departments.
- Maintain vehicle-wise and project-wise dispatch records.
- Ensure zero shortages, incorrect loading, and material mix-ups.

5. Paint Consumption & Inventory Control

- Monitor daily consumption of primer, paint, thinner, and other consumables.
- Compare actual paint consumption against theoretical and approved consumption.
- Minimize paint wastage, excess coating application, rework, and material losses.
- Maintain proper records of paint inventory, material issuance, and consumption.
- Ensure safe storage and handling of painting materials.
- Implement cost-control measures without compromising coating quality.

6. Manpower Management & Department Coordination

- Manage painters, helpers, loading teams, crane operators, and dispatch personnel.
- Allocate manpower according to daily painting and dispatch priorities.
- Monitor manpower productivity, operational efficiency, and daily output.
- Coordinate closely with Production, PPC, Quality, Store, Accounts, and Project departments.
- Resolve painting and dispatch bottlenecks to avoid delays.
- Ensure proper discipline, accountability, and housekeeping in both departments.

7. Reporting, MIS & Performance Monitoring

- Prepare daily painting production and dispatch reports.
- Maintain project-wise painted, pending, and dispatched material records.
- Track DFT inspection status, paint consumption, rework, and rejection.
- Monitor pending dispatches and coordinate corrective actions.
- Submit daily departmental performance reports to management.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of painted, finished, and dispatched material quantities.

8. Safety & Compliance

- Ensure proper PPE usage and safe handling of paints,



solvents, and chemicals.
- Implement fire safety and housekeeping practices in painting areas.
- Ensure safe crane operations, lifting, loading, and vehicle movement.
- Prevent material damage, unsafe loading, and workplace accidents.
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and applicable industrial safety standards.

? Required Qualifications & Experience

Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant discipline.

Experience: Preferably 5–10 years in PEB manufacturing, heavy structural steel fabrication, industrial painting, and dispatch operations.

- Proven experience in managing both painting and dispatch departments.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial coatings, surface preparation, and DFT inspection.
- Practical experience in PEB structural material identification, handling, loading, and dispatch.
- Knowledge of packing lists, dispatch documentation, and transportation coordination.
- Ability to manage manpower, daily production targets, and dispatch schedules independently.
- Strong coordination, planning, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in a PEB or Heavy Steel Structure Manufacturing Plant will be strongly preferred.
