We are looking for hardworking, dedicated and passionate Bakery Assistants to join our team at Fou Shack.

The candidate will be responsible for assisting in and handling day-to-day bakery production, including cakes, breads, pastries, cookies, desserts and other bakery products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and bake cakes, breads, pastries, cookies and other bakery products.

2. Handle cake batter preparation, mixing, weighing, baking and basic decoration.

3. Assist in preparing creams, fillings, frostings, doughs and other bakery ingredients.

4. Follow standard recipes and maintain consistency in product quality.

5. Operate and maintain bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers and other kitchen machinery.

6. Ensure proper storage, labelling and handling of raw materials and finished products.

7. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery kitchen and workstations.

Follow daily production schedules and complete assigned tasks on time.

9. Minimise wastage and ensure proper utilisation of ingredients.

10. Follow food safety standards and company SOPs.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a bakery or commercial kitchen is preferred.

* Basic knowledge of cake baking, bread making and bakery production.

* Knowledge of weighing, measuring and handling ingredients.

* Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.

* Positive work discipline, time management and willingness to learn.

* Ability to work in a team and handle daily production responsibilities.
