Pharmacy Assistant – Retail Pharmacy

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat

Experience: Minimum 2 Years

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced, customer-oriented and enthusiastic *Pharmacy Assistant* to join our retail pharmacy team.

The ideal candidate should have positive knowledge of medicines, the ability to read and understand prescriptions, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret prescriptions and accurately identify prescribed medicines.

- Assist customers in finding medicines and other pharmacy products.

- Have working knowledge of commonly prescribed medicines and treatments for conditions such as cold, flu, fever, headaches, diabetes, etc.

- Handle customer queries and provide a pleasant shopping experience.

- Coordinate with pharmacists to ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medicines.

- Manage billing, inventory and day-to-day pharmacy operations.

- Maintain good customer relationships and ensure high standards of customer service.

Required Skills & Qualifications





- B.Pharm qualification mandatory

- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a retail pharmacy.

- Ability to read prescriptions and identify medicines accurately.

- Good knowledge of commonly prescribed medicines and popular treatment categories.

- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong customer service orientation and a friendly attitude.

- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate pharmacy billing software.

- Responsible, organised and attentive to detail.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
