Senior EMIR (EM/IR) Engineer - VLSI

Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Chennai / Ahmedabad Experience: 8-12+ Years

Role Summary

Looking for an experienced EMIR Engineer to drive power integrity signoff (IR Drop & Electromigration) for advanced-node SoCs, ensuring robust PDN design and tapeout readiness.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Static & Dynamic IR drop analysis and EM checks :

- Identify and fix IR/EM violations and hotspots :

- Optimize power grid (straps, mesh, decaps) :

- Work with VCD/SAIF activity for dynamic analysis :

- Collaborate with PD, STA, and package teams :

- Deliver EMIR signoff reports and closure

Required Skills :

- Strong expertise in EMIR / Power Integrity :

- Hands-on with tools: RedHawk / Voltus / PrimeRail :

- Valuable understanding of PDN design and advanced nodes (7nm/5nm preferred) :

- Scripting knowledge (Python/Tcl) is a plus
