Role: DevOps Enablement Engineer

Position Overview

for a DevOps Enablement Engineer who can improve the delivery paved road for

engineering teams: GitHub pipelines, Terraform request flows, Flux deployment patterns, and

operational runbooks. This is a shared-services role—you’ll work across multiple pods and

teams to make delivery faster, safer, and more consistent.

This isn’t a traditional “keep the lights on” ops role. It’s a builder role focused on developer

experience: creating reusable pipeline templates, standardizing deployment patterns, improving

observability, and ensuring that every team can ship with confidence.

This role begins as a consulting engagement with a right-to-hire path.

What You’ll Do

- Build and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines: CI/CD workflows, reusable action templates, and quality gates (linting, testing, security scanning).
- Manage and improve Terraform-based infrastructure provisioning: module development, request/approval flows, drift detection, and state management.
- Implement and standardize Flux-based GitOps deployment patterns for AKS workloads—ensuring consistent, auditable, and rollback-capable deployments.
- Create operational runbooks and documentation that enable teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
- Improve observability across the delivery pipeline: build dashboards, alerts, and metrics that surface deployment health and pipeline performance.
- Enforce release hygiene: branching strategies, versioning conventions, environment promotion patterns, and change management practices.




- Partner with engineering teams to understand their delivery pain points and build enablement tooling that removes friction.
- Use AI tools to accelerate DevOps work (infrastructure analysis, runbook drafting,

pipeline troubleshooting), while maintaining strong validation and security practices.

What We’re Looking For

- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering with strong hands-on

skills in CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.

- Deep experience with GitHub Actions: custom actions, reusable workflows, matrix

builds, and security best practices.

- Strong Terraform skills: module authoring, state management, provider configuration,

and enterprise-scale patterns.

- Experience with Flux or ArgoCD for GitOps-based Kubernetes deployments.
- Solid knowledge of AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service): cluster operations, networking,

RBAC, and workload management.

- Observability expertise: monitoring, logging, alerting (DataDog), and dashboard design

for infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

- A developer-experience mindset: you measure success by how much faster and safer

you make other teams.

- Solid documentation habits: your runbooks and guides are clear, actionable, and

maintained.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Azure cloud services beyond AKS (Key Vault, Event Hubs, Azure AD,

Container Registry).

- Familiarity with security scanning tools (Trivy, Snyk, or similar) integrated into CI/CD

pipelines.

- Experience building internal developer platforms or “paved roads” that standardize how

teams build, test, and deploy.

- Exposure to compliance-aware deployment patterns in financial services or regulated

environments.

Pay: ₹3,500,000.00 - ₹3,800,000.00 per year
