Role: Project Manager Location: Mogappair,Chennai Key Responsibilities: - Project Tracking: Planned, monitored, and updated project timelines to ensure timely completion of all milestones. - Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Served as the primary point of contact for vendors, contractors, and trades, ensuring alignment with project scope and deliverables. - Site Supervision: Conducted regular meetings with site engineers to monitor progress, ensure adherence to design specifications and resolve in office issues efficiently. - Wastage Control: Oversaw material planning and cost control measures to minimize wastage and optimize resource utilisation. - Quality & Compliance: Ensured adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and approved specifications throughout the project lifecycle. - Business Support: Assisted in cost estimation, feasibility analysis and operational improvements to support business development initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field. - Experience: 2-4 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within the interior design or construction industry. - Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and understand 2D architectural drawings, floor plans and interior elevations. - Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, or MS Project). Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or SketchUp is a bonus. - Organizational Skills: Exceptional time-management abilities with a proven track record of handling multiple projects simultaneously. - Problem-Solving: Proactive mindset with the ability to troubleshoot logístical issues and material delays effectively.
