Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to design and deliver enterprise-scale data models for product and analytics platforms. The role focuses on building canonical, scalable, and high-performance data models on modern cloud data platforms while ensuring solid governance and data quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and deliver conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise platforms.
- Define canonical data models , entity relationships, dimensions, facts, and data dictionaries.
- Create implementation-ready artifacts including schemas, table structures, partitioning, and indexing strategies.
- Define and validate ETL / ELT mappings , ensuring clear data lineage and traceability .
- Ensure models meet scalability, performance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to translate business use cases into data model designs.
- Establish standards for metadata, master data, reference data, and data quality .




- Work within Agile teams , contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and design discussions.
- Mentor engineers and analysts on data modeling best practices .

Required Skills & Experience

- 8-12 years of experience in enterprise data architecture and data modeling .

- Strong expertise in:

- Dimensional Modeling

- Normalized Models

- Data Vault

- Canonical Modeling

- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.

- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Spark, dbt, and ETL/ELT frameworks.

- Experience with data modeling tools (Erwin, ER/Studio, Sparx, Archi, or similar).

- Knowledge of data lineage, metadata management, and data quality frameworks .

- Understanding of performance tuning, partitioning, storage formats (Parquet/ORC), and query optimization.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,100,000.00 per year
