We are looking for a Bakery Commis to join our central kitchen team at La Grange.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and production of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies and other bakery products.
- Follow standard recipes and maintain consistency in quality.
- Ensure proper handling, storage and labelling of ingredients and finished products.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation and equipment.
- Follow food safety standards and FIFO practices.
- Coordinate with the team to ensure timely production and dispatch.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of bakery techniques and ingredients.
- Prior experience in a bakery or qualified kitchen preferred.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a team and manage daily production requirements.
