Key Roles & Responsibilities (As per CBSE Norms)

Academic Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in accordance with CBSE curriculum and guidelines
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and remedial strategies
- Ensure effective classroom management and a positive learning environment
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate answer sheets, and maintain academic records
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial/enrichment support
- Integrate experiential learning, competency-based education, and NEP 2020 practices
- Use smart boards, digital tools, and ICT-enabled teaching methods

Student Development

- Mentor and guide students for academic and personal growth
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills
- Maintain discipline and promote ethical values among students
- Communicate student progress effectively with parents

School & Administrative Responsibilities





- Participate in school activities, events, assemblies, and examinations
- Maintain CBSE-mandated documentation and academic records

Educational Qualifications

PRT :

- D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed
- CTET (preferred)

TGT :

- B.Ed (mandatory)
- CTET qualified (preferred)

PGT :

- B.Ed (mandatory)

Qualifications must be from recognised universities as per CBSE norms.

Experience

- Teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school will be preferred
- Experience with board classes (X/XII) preferred for PGTs
