- Team supervision Managing a team of security personnel, delegating tasks, and monitoring performance
- Emergency response Leading emergency response drills to help employees understand how to act in an emergency
- Security equipment Verifying the functionality of security equipment, including CCTV and burglar alarms
- Patrols Patrolling the area with the security team to keep an eye out for hazards or strange people
- Security documentation Writing and submitting security reports
- Security incidents Reporting security incidents to the designated senior/reporting officer and agencies like police, fire and medical
- Customer service Ensuring the best possible service delivery




- New personnel Inducting new personnel ensuring they are aware of site security procedures
