Role Summary

We are seeking a hardworking, meticulous, and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating commercial laundry equipment, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding all hotel linens, toweling, staff uniforms, and guest laundry while strictly adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operation of Laundry Equipment: Properly and safely operate commercial washing machines, dryers, flatwork ironers, and pressing equipment.
- Sorting & Pre-treatment: Sort laundry items by fabric type, color, and degree of soil; pre-treat stains using appropriate chemicals following safety protocols.
- Washing & Drying: Execute washing cycles with correct chemical dispensing and ensure proper drying to prevent shrinkage, damage, or discoloration.




- Finishing & Quality Check: Inspect finished linen and garments for cleanliness, proper pressing, and defects. Fold and stack linens neatly or hang uniforms as per hotel standards.
- Guest Laundry Services: Handle guest laundry and dry-cleaning requests with utmost care, ensuring timely pickup, processing, and delivery back to guest rooms.
- Inventory & Maintenance: Monitor chemical levels, report any equipment malfunctions immediately to the supervisor, and keep the laundry area clean, organized, and sanitary at all times.

- Skills & Attributes:
- Sound knowledge of various fabrics, wash care labels, and safe handling of commercial laundry chemicals.
- Valuable physical stamina and ability to stand and handle repetitive lifting/moving of laundry loads during shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Flexibility to work in rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
