Experience: 8 12 years Job Summary We are looking for a hands-on Business Analyst with strong experience in Capital Markets and Securities lending, particularly financial products, P&L;, and trade lifecycle management with US based large investment banks. Experience in Securities Lending would be a strong advantage. The candidate should have proven expertise in requirements gathering, BRD preparation, workflow diagrams, Jira, Agile methodologies, and stakeholder management. They will work closely with the Product Owner and technology teams to manage user stories, drive complex cross-functional projects, and ensure successful delivery aligned with business requirements. Required Qualifications & Experience

1. 8+ Years Strong Business Analysis experience within Capital Markets and Securities Lending with US based large investment banks.
2. Valuable understanding of financial products, P&L;, and the complete trade lifecycle.
3. Securities Lending experience would be a significant advantage.
4. Proven experience in working on complex, cross-functional projects.
5. Hands-on experience creating business workflows, flow diagrams, BRDs, and FRDs.
6. Strong experience in requirements gathering and translating requirements into user stories.
7. Practical Jira management and Agile framework experience.
8. Ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions independently.

Experience coordinating with technical teams and reviewing completed deliverables against business requirements.
10. Ability to work closely with the Product Owner and independently drive BA deliverables.

Key Responsibilities 1. Domain & Business Knowledge

- Strong understanding of Capital Markets, Securities, and financial products for US/international markets.
- Experience in Securities Lending / Stock Lending would be a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L;), including relevant financial calculations, numbers, and business metrics.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end trade lifecycle, including buying, selling, trade execution, settlements, and related processes.
- Ability to understand complex business workflows and translate them into functional requirements.
- Extensive experience working on Capital Markets or Securities-related projects is a must.

2. Business Analysis & Requirements Management

- Gather, analyse, document, and validate business requirements from multiple stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs).
- Create business workflows, process flows, flowcharts, and functional diagrams.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience in translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable deliverables.




- Break down business requirements into functional requirements, user stories, and manageable development tasks.
- Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Work on complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple business and technology teams.

3. Agile & Jira Management

- Good understanding and practical experience working within Agile frameworks and methodologies.
- Create, manage, review, and maintain user stories in Jira.
- Define clear acceptance criteria and functional requirements for development teams.
- Support story creation, backlog refinement, and prioritisation in coordination with the Product Owner.
- Participate in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Support the Product Owner in planning and tracking project deliverables.
- Review completed work delivered by technical teams to ensure alignment with business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate with development and QA teams to clarify requirements and resolve functional queries.

4. Stakeholder Management & Project Coordination

- Independently facilitate business requirement discussions and stakeholder calls.
- Work closely with the Product Owner / Business Manager and technology teams.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between business requirements and technical deliverables.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve functional issues and dependencies.
- Drive discussions, document decisions, and ensure timely closure of requirements.
- Demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exposure to AI-assisted tools such as Microsoft Copilot for business analysis and documentation.
