Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have
Carry out EMI/EMC tests as per various international standards such as IEC, EN, CISPR, FCC, IEEE 1613, GR1089 etc.
Exposure on Safety testing as per 60950-1 & 62368-1 standards for Information Technology Equipment
Create and review test plans and test reports
Troubleshoot test setup issues in the test facility
Carry out feasibility studies and work on quotes for EMC tests
Carry out calibration activity for various instruments and maintain an in-house EMC lab
Should have basic soldering skills
Perform Technical feasibility study, architecture, and other technical support for Compliance proposal preparation
Use Spectrum Analyzers, surge generators, ESD guns, LISNs etc for performing EMC tests.
Positive-to-Have Good communication and presentation skills
